SQL Developer
Job Description
The SQL Developer will operate predominantly Microsoft software solutions. He/she has a keen eye for visualisation to develop reports and dashboards and to become go-to SME for all things regarding BI.
Responsibilities:
Translate business requirements into beautiful dashboards, reports, and visuals
Work closely with the development team and product owner in an agile manner, contributing to the entire product team’s objective to deliver high quality software and reporting solutions to our clients
Develops complex SQL queries
Maintains and keep up existing functionality
Assists in the development and maintenance of data warehouse ETL
Provides troubleshooting and support for existing solutions
Design and develop BI reports and dashboards using SSRS and other BI tools
Performance troubleshooting and optimisation of database workloads across OLTP and data warehouse workloads
Qualification
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience with SQL
Experience with MS SQL Server (2012 and above version), SSIS, and SSAS
Ability to modify and develop reports via SSRS
Good knowledge of database integration development
Demonstrate T-SQL development experience across SQL Server 2012 and up
Strong communication skills
Ability to provide production support
Exposure to Power BI is desirable
