Assistant Project Manager

Job Description

  • Check quality of installation internal from the photographic evidence received
  • Verify the correct naming convention and labelling standard
  • Ensure that sheath readings are listed in the cable production report
  • Confirm OTDR tests was done through files submitted
  • Review optical insertion loss report if passed or failed. If failed, return to contractor
  • All work safety reports are issued by external resources
  • Prepare project completion packs and send to salesperson
  • Create handover acceptance checklists and project folder checklists to guaranty that project as built as per design
  • Database update  by pushing services to Technical Provisioning, COPC upload and Project Folder checklist
  • Review and approve invoice
  • Liaise with Project Managers, contractors, GIS team, Finance and National Projects and Telstra for status or concerns of handovers/invoices
  • Archive necessary documents and provide reports
  • Qualification

  • Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/ College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, Business Studies/Administration/ Management or Master's Degree in Project Management or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience related to the role
  • Knowledge in using MS Visio / Autocad, MS Dynamics and JIRA is an advantage.
  • Ability to interpret designs through drawing and written document
  • Working experience/ exposure in telecommunications industry
  • Flexible and has sense of urgency
  • Ability to maintain high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Familiar in PO and Invoice process
