Software Developer Engineer in Testing

Job Description

Designs, develops, and maintains software applications. Leads a team of developers, provides technical guidance, and ensures project deadlines are met. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software problems. Stays up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.  
  • Develops complex software components. Provides team and project leadership for software development activities.
  • Develops interfaces and drivers for hardware devices, software platforms and data exchange.
  • Advises developers on best methods of software development and code creation.
  • Monitors and modifies development work to make sure resulting software meets established goals.
  • Tests and debugs software to ensure high-quality and error-free products.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software issues.

    Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications.
  • Strong leadership experience guiding and mentoring software development teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead software projects and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
  • Expertise in developing complex software components, interfaces, and system architectures.
  • Experience developing drivers, interfaces, and data exchange mechanisms for hardware devices and software platforms.
  • Deep understanding of software development best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
  • Ability to advise and support developers on effective software development methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with testing, debugging, and optimizing software for performance and reliability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Commitment to staying current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends.
