Senior IT Support and Applications Specialist

Job Description

  • Deliver high-quality support for the company's IT infrastructure, networks, systems and Hardware).
  • Support and maintain key business applications (e.g. ERP (Pronto), CRM (Zoho), Bartender Print Stations, Printers, Mailbox Storage, etc).
  • Conduct cyber cybersecurity audit and checks.
  • Provide timely helpdesk services.
  • EDI implementations and action EDI deliverables.
  • Maintain regular system updates, backups, and documentation.
  • Ensure systems resiliency and performance (servers, software, hardware etc up time).
  • Manage user accounts, access levels, and security across digital systems
  • Coordinate and participate in IT-related projects and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Identify technology gaps and opportunities that drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Work with vendors to support business objectives.
  • Manage IT inventory.
  • Manage Software licensing.
  • Assist with the procurement of hardware and software.
  • Follow company onboarding and offboarding procedures.
  • Conduct IT Deliverables diligently.
  • Office 365 Suite Management.
  • Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required
  • The ideal candidate will be the go-to expert for all things IT, have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset to support, maintain, and improve IT systems, while also acting as a bridge between users and technology.
  • Qualification

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support, coordination, and systems administration.
  • Proficiency in supporting Microsoft environments (Windows, Office 365, Entra, Active Directory).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience in ERP, or other business-critical systems.
  • ITIL awareness or exposure to service management practices.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and proficient in network and devices security management.
  • Project Time management and coordination abilities.
  • A self-starter with strong analytical thinking and a can-do attitude
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, digital platforms and enterprise environments.
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for problem-solving and business improvement
