Professional Services Manager

Job Description

The Professional Services Manager holds a pivotal role within the organization, responsible for overseeing the seamless delivery of projects to clients. This position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of project management methodologies, strong leadership skills, and a customer-centric approach. The Professional Services Manager will lead a team of functional and technical consultants to ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Delivery Oversight:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of all projects within the professional services portfolio.
  • Ensure that project objectives, scope, and timelines are clearly defined and communicated to all stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
  • Team Leadership and Management:
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of consultants and support staff.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement and Optimization:
  • Identify opportunities to streamline project delivery processes and improve efficiency.
  • Implement best practices and standards for project management, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the professional services team.
  • Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage the professional services budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support project delivery goals.
  • Monitor project profitability and financial performance, implementing strategies to optimize revenue and minimize costs.
  • Qualification



    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any IT-related field

  • At least 5 years solid experience in project delivery management within the IT services/products industry

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve their full potential.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused mindset.

  • This role may require occasional travel to client sites or other company locations within APAC region.
