Job Description
We are seeking a Cloud Architect (AWS – Data & AI) with 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture. This role is pivotal in shaping enterprise-scale AWS and data solutions while guiding organizations through their AI adoption journey. You’ll work at the intersection of cloud, data, and AI strategy, ensuring solutions are scalable, cost-effective, secure, and aligned with business goals. Your influence will extend beyond design—you’ll guide clients, mentor teams, and shape the adoption roadmap across industries.
Architect enterprise-grade AWS cloud and data platforms for scalability, resilience, and security.
Design high-throughput solutions across compute, storage, and networking tailored to business needs.
Define data strategies including data lakes, warehouses, and real-time streaming (S3, Redshift, Glue, Kinesis).
Provide AI/ML integration blueprints (SageMaker, Bedrock, custom ML pipelines).
Partner in presales engagements—craft proposals, lead workshops, and perform cost estimation.
Produce clear AWS reference architectures and diagrams for client presentations.
Drive cost analysis & optimization with AWS Cost Explorer, Pricing Calculator, and estimation frameworks.
Establish architecture guardrails and best practices for delivery teams.
Act as a bridge between business and technical stakeholders, presenting architecture decisions in business terms.
Mentor and upskill teams on cloud adoption, architecture principles, and data strategy.
Qualification
Experience: 8+ years in AWS cloud architecture & enterprise-scale system design.
AWS Expertise: Deep understanding of AWS core services (EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, Glue, Redshift, SageMaker, Bedrock).
Data Architecture: Strong background in data lakes, warehouses, and real-time data pipelines.
AI/ML Awareness: Experience integrating AI/ML into enterprise architectures.
Cost Optimization: Skilled in AWS Cost Explorer, Pricing Calculator, and cost estimation frameworks.
Architecture Design: Ability to create visual AWS architecture diagrams (AWS Icons, Lucidchart, Draw.io).
Programming Awareness: Familiar with Python and modern API stacks (not hands-on coding).
Soft Skills: Strong presales solutioning, executive presentation, and stakeholder influence.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Industry Knowledge: Banking, Telecom, or Retail experience.
Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, Data Analytics Specialty, ML Specialty.
Security & Compliance: Familiar with IAM, enterprise-grade security, and regulatory frameworks.
Observability: Awareness of monitoring & observability (CloudWatch, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
Performance & Tuning: Ability to advise on workload performance & cost optimization.
Workshop Leadership: Experience leading executive/technical workshops on AWS adoption.
