COMPANY OVERVIEW

CAI-STA Philippines, Inc. is a joint-venture between US-based Company - Computer Aid, Inc. (CAI), and local company - SoftTech Advantage, Inc. (STA).  CAI-STA was formed to service the growing demands of Fortune 500 companies and government agencies across the United States, Europe, and the Philippines for a better delivery of Information Technology Services.  CAI-STA is a part of Solution Delivery Centers established by Computer Aid, Inc., in order to provide world-class, value-added IT solutions to clients. CAI-STA has over 200 associates in the Philippines, complementing the more than 2,500 CAI associates located in the United States and Europe. Our service offerings are founded on the acknowledgement that associates are a critical resource for success. History

CAI was founded in 1981 to provide quality information services to companies of all sizes. At that time, as is still the case today, many IT projects were characterized by:

  • Missed Deadlines
  • Poor Quality
  • Budget Overruns
     

CAI saw a need to provide customers with added value beyond simply providing a resource. In the mid-80s CAI believed that applications could be developed on-time, within budget, and at a high quality if standards and repeatable processes were adhered to.  Since then, CAI developed repeatable processes and procedures which allow projects to be completed on time at an agreed to budget. These processes and procedures have become the backbone of CAI's application development methodology known as Construction Management. The result, CAI provides customers with guaranteed deliverables through value-added, project based services. Currently, CAI offers a broad spectrum of methodology based IT service offerings, which focus on processes and metrics.
