GENERAL PURPOSE
The Local Number Portability (LNP) Coordinator position will manage the critical day to day operational components for the delivery of telephone services. This includes, but may not be exclusive to: Local Number Portability (LNP), DID Listings, SMS, Translations, telephone back office processes and manage special projects as necessary. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with a heavy achievement orientation, a high personal level of excellence and the ability to assess situations quickly/understand business requirements and use technology to assist in the end-to-end telephony process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Local Number Portability Coordinator is responsible for triaging order fall outs and preparing Local Service Requests (LSR) using information from telephone work order, ensuring accuracy and completion; submit orders to multiple Local Exchange Carriers (LECs / ILECs) across multiple markets where LSR requirements/business rules may vary. Responsibilities will also include follow-up, carrier escalations, provisioning and system updates, and project/quality management. This position fulfills an administrative and technical support role within the Customer Provisioning team by meeting core performance objectives and by addressing order-impacting issues with RingCentral’s internal/external customers.
PERIPHERAL DUTIES
Prepare Local Service Request (LSR) utilizing carrier applications and carrier interfaces.
Submit, track and document LSR orders to Local Exchange Carriers, using various internal and external systems.
Monitor submitted LSR orders to ensure Firm Order Confirmation (FOC) received within regulated timeframes and resolve order rejects within a timely manner and escalate as needed.
Responsible for creating and activating telephone number subscriptions in SOA / NPAC.
Coordinate requests for Hot Cuts with various departments within the Company.
Proactively manage internal system milestones, carrier issues and order supplements to ensure order completion within established time-sensitive intervals.
Utilize trouble-shooting techniques to escalate and resolve order jeopardies of a simple and complex nature with ILECs/CLECs.
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel.
Knowledge of common Local Number Portability systems will be helpful.
Solid time management, organizational skills, multi-tasking skills and analytical skills.
Mature judgment and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
Flexible, Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualification
2 years of collegiate education is required
At least 2-3 years of working experience in Technical Support is required for this position
Chat Support experience is a plus but not required
Excellent English communication skills
Knowledgable in Number Porting (Required)
Familiar in using Microsoft Excel
Strong customer service orientation
45 WPM (required)
Ability to work efficiently in a highly demanding, team-oriented and fast paced environment
Networking, IT or telecommunications certification is a plus
Applicants must be amenable to work at night.
