We are recruiting for an experienced Workday Consultant, to join our expanding Workday Technical Delivery Team. This role supports us in delivering an ambitious roadmap of Workday optimisation and enhancement.

What will you do in this role?
Working under the supervision of the Workday Delivery Manager in the UK, you will:
Leading and contributing to Workday projects, taking full responsibility for one or more functional areas, from design through to deployment, as part a project team.
Develop and maintain subject-matter expertise to inform decisions and approaches taken by business stakeholders as well as project and BAU-support teams.
Contribute to the HR Solutions delivery roadmap, and engaging in and facilitating a regular development and release cycle.
Use gap analysis to process and solution design to help advise and influence decisions of stakeholders.
Contribute to thought leadership within the workday practice.
Soliciting and challenging requirements, presenting and facilitating workshops, analysing data, and configuring solutions in Workday
Build and maintain constructive relationships with the other application teams, infrastructure and service management, and the broader IT department.
Work effectively with third-party suppliers to obtain additional resource and expertise as required for relevant projects, and manage these suppliers to ensure effective delivery.
Taking responsibility for development of more junior colleagues through career coaching and mentoring.
Qualification
What makes you the ideal candidate for this position?
You will be ideal for this part if you have 3+ years of demonstrated experience in a related role.
Workday HCM certified
Either consulting experience or significant hands-on experience within an in-house Workday technical team
Experience in driving workday functional design
Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to both technical and non-technical audiences. The post-holder must be fluent in written and spoken English.
Experience with excel, Visio and Power point
The ability to work independently and drive teams to deliver
Experience of working with both Waterfall and Agile (Scrum) methodologies.
The ability to listen to requirements and provide imaginative solutions to challenges
