Job Description
• Multiple experiences in designing and implementing projects as the lead engineer.
• Responsible for the technical work on a project from front to end to understand the entirety of the process.
• M365 migration experience. Migrating from local email platforms(exchange) to Microsoft 365. The role will require them to be able to do these projects on their own with little assistance. This usually includes building a 365 environment from scratch and migrating email to it.
• Virtualization Experience. Migrating from virtual platforms. This means migrating existing virtual guests and moving them from a host that is being decommissioned to a newly purchased host. This would involve installing VMware or Hyper-V on the new host or host cluster. It also would include configuring storage.
• Windows Server Upgrades – Migration from older Windows Server Operating Systems to new Windows Server operating systems. This includes migrating Domain Controller functionality, file servers, applications, and printing. Particularly someone that can migrate from Windows 2012 to the new Windows Server OS.
• Firewall Replacements or Installs – We need someone to configure firewalls to replace existing firewalls or build them from scratch for newly built networks.
• Network Refresh – Similar to firewall this would be the replacement of switching, firewalls, and ap’s from a configuration perspective
