The Software Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications, working closely with the development team to deliver consistent and reliable web experience and improve usability for our customers.

What will you do in this role?
Working under the supervision of the Web Service Manager in the UK, you will:
Develop user-facing features and improvements to our products in a secure, well-tested, and performant way
Consistently ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members.
Conversion of high-fidelity designs into fully working responsive HTML templates
Help improve the overall experience of our product through improving the quality of the Frontend features
Optimize web design for mobile and other platforms for maximum speed and scalability
Support the creation, maintenance and development of Design Systems that will be applied across the business.
Keep up to date on the latest industry trends on UX, web and mobile design technologies
What makes you the ideal candidate for this position?
You will be ideal for this part if you have are a degree-holder in a relevant field of study or have three (3) years of demonstrated experience in a related role. You will make a strong candidate:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
You will also be an ideal candidate if you have a demonstrable understanding of best practice data architecture, and statistical analysis.
In addition, experience, knowledge or expertise in the following would give you an advantage:
Familiarity with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
Knowledge on Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and the ITIL is an advantage
An understanding of UI/UX and SEO principles
