Senior Data Engineer
Build and maintain efficient data infrastructure/architecture by designing and implementing data ingestion solutions using data management technologies. Design and optimize data models. You are expected to work with data scientists and data analysts in getting analytical data and deep learning models production ready. Investigate and research data quality and integrity from data sources. Develop and maintain data platforms and ETLs. Coaching and mentoring junior data engineers to be more effective individual contributors.
Data Engineer Manager
Maintain efficient data infrastructure including data warehouse and data lake implementation Data warehouse should be able to process all ETLs with minimum downtime Data lake should be able ingest relevant data without impacting data source performance Ingest relevant data from internal and external sources Create data solutions such as data integrations and automated jobs Create streamlined jobs to speed up data processing and optimize data pipeline
Qualification
Data Engineer 1
1 - 2 years of data engineering experience OR 2 - 3 years of software engineering experience Intermediate knowledge on the following: Schema Concepts Data Modelling (Using Scala, Python, or Java) Data Pipeline Data Warehouse Infrastructure Handling structured and unstructured data Events processing Scheduler Handling data lake
Senior Data Engineer
2-4 years of data engineer experience or 3-5 years of software development You are data-driven, innovative, problem-solver with analytical mindset and critical thinker. You are keen on data technologies and picking up new skills and tools along the way. Strong SQL expertise, optimizing complex joins and database concepts. Strong programming development experience in languages like Python or similar. Knowledge in version controls such as Git. Experience working in Data Warehouse and Data Lake. Experience in data engineering tools like Hadoop, Spark, BigQuery, Airflow, etc. AWS and Data Platform experience with the following: Kinesis, Redshift, Glue, S3.
Data Engineer Manager
Has at least 3 to 5 years of data engineering experience and 2 to 4 years of people management experience Can create data models using Python, Scala, or R Experience in utilizing Pandas or Numpy (or any equivalent is a plus) Can setup data pipeline using Airflow (or any equivalent) Experience in implementing the data engineering architecture in a cloud environment such as Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Services Can manage stakeholders in setting up timelines and proposing data solutions Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze big data and present to stakeholders Problem-solving and critical thinking mindset Detail-oriented with strong ability to multi-task Ability to work with a team and independently Ability to lead a team to achieving business goals Develop team members' capabilities and drive them to their full potential
