Job Description
- Contact for SAP Basis and integration functionality for the global SAP system
- Ensure the enablement and adherence to the security and authorisation requirements of SAP, creating relevant required authorisationsand roles to support BAU and project work
- Provide Basis administration support (configuration, monitoring, tuning) troubleshooting processes to resolve issues and support business in timely manner;
- Help to ensure the integrity of the SAP environment by utilising the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure all configuration and development objects are promoted properly; Engage with Change Management process and review changes to adhere quality, business requirements, industry standards and best business practice;
- Assist in liasing across teams to ensure that the SAP non-Production environments data quality is regularly refreshed, and in line with refreshes of other applications. Manage and update operational procedures and appropriate documentation for data requirements and its changes;
- Help to support SAP affiliated systems including but not limited to the tax engine, Transport Management System, Warehouse Management System, etc ensuring availability for business, development and quality assurance use;
- Assist with system upgrades in Press SAP estate and within the business where appropriate and facilitate expansions. Investigate, review and recommend new technologies.
- Be involved with root-cause analysis and resolve all integration issues in processes and maintain accuracy in all inbound and outbound documents and perform troubleshooingt on processes and analyse all errors;
- Work with internal teams and third parties to perform root cause analysis of unplanned outages and help to implement measures to prevent recurrences;
- Monitor systems (application, communication), support calls, provide ongoing end-user support and resolve issues effectively;
- Be involved in projects from initiation, approval, until completion.
- Participate in all system tests and analyse all data and processes and recommend improvements to same and manage all communication with individuals and internal and external stakeholders and ensure compliance to all policies and procedures.

Qualification Summary
- Strong SAP Basis experience, DBA experience, network administration experience and project management experience. SAP ABAP, XML / XSLT, Web Services, SOAP, REST would be an advantage
- Hands on SAP Basis troubleshooting experience in multiple SAP components such as – ECC, CRM, XI/PI/PO, Solution Manager, BIBO, BDOS etc. including client copies, system refreshes;
- Experience setting authosations and access to meet business requirements
- Experience in working closely with key suppliers and review performance reports with DBA,
- Solid knowledge in SAP Basis leading practices, methodologies processes and control framework, including but not limited to ITIL
- Extensive experience of performance tuning, problem analysis, upgrades and system administration for the SAP instances; Hands-on experience in performance and stress tests for project or system and being instrumental in creating load runner scripts and stress testing and executing them;
- Experience in successfully delivering of IT support of diverse global sites and end-users and demonstrated ability to support (and lead) a world-class Basis organization to support a global, 24x7 SAP environment across distributed organizations;
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to transition smoothly between technical and business vernacular, tailoring communications to the audience;
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross functional project teams.
