Provide first-tier support and solve customer's technical issues related to client’s Networking products Provide customer best effort solution on basic and/or complex networking issue in connecting third-party networking products
Collaborate with other team members and groups to identify and develop solutions
Suggest development and improvement on Networking
Establishes network specifications by analyzing workflow, access, information and security requirements; designs router administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols.
Evaluates network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency; defines network policies and procedures; establishes connections and firewalls.
Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshoots network problems; and escalates them to vendors/Telco providers (as needed).
Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, controls, and evaluation; maintains documentation.
Min. Work Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in IT or any related courses
3 – 5 years experience in network administration and support
CCNA, CCNP certified (an advantage)
Excellent knowledge in TCP/IP networking, LAN/WAN, network design and optimization
Hands on experience managing and configuring Cisco routers, switches and firewalls
Familiarity with system monitoring tools such as What’s Up Gold, Solarwinds, Netcool, Nagios, etc.
Working experience in supporting 24x7 mission critical network infrastructure monitoring with familiarity to ticketing systems.
Ability to adapt to changing project and departmental priorities
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Must be willing to work on shifting schedules including overtime, holiday, and weekend if needed
