Network Administrator
Job Description
• Ensure the health, maintenance, and documentation of assigned client network infrastructures.
• Mentor other technical staff to help ensure that everyone is growing professionally and that knowledge of client infrastructure is being disseminated throughout the company
• Provide technical design recommendations to our vCIO team to help ensure proper project scope and IT best-practices.
• Other relevant job duties as assigned.
• Manage the ongoing configuration and maintenance of these solutions to ensure optimal performance and security.
Qualification
• Solid experience with Windows 7, 8, 10, and Mac OS desktop operating systems
• Experience with deploying and building Windows servers (troubleshooting as well as supporting and implementing) including Exchange Server 2010, 2013, 2016, and Office 365.
• Knowledge and understanding of mail flow troubleshooting.
• Experience with VPN remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policies.
• Experience with the Microsoft 365 stack, including Office 365 and Azure.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
• Knowledge of firewalls, networking/routing (switches, routers, etc.), and wireless configurations.
