This post is a hands-on technical development role, and you can become a highly proficient quality analyst as you work with a team lead led by seasoned leads and senior quality analysts. Your tasks will primarily be to test plans, data, procedures, and manual and/or automated scripts. With close supervision from your team lead and senior analysts, you will also participate in reviews of business requirements and application designs and support proper test coverage exists. Your role will also involve working with various stakeholders, including developers, business product owners and project managers, and scrum masters to help develop the overall test plan of a given project. Working under the supervision of a senior quality analyst, team lead or manager, you will:
  • Adapt to new testing software the company uses.
  • Adhere to the methodologies (i.e. Agile - Scrum), test approach/strategy and tools used within the Education group
  • Create test data for the different type/s of testing to be performed.
  • Design and develop test scenarios, conditions and test cases or scripts across different of testing performed.
  • Perform test execution activities such as SIT, Regression Test, UAT and Sanity tests in prescribed test environment
  • Record, monitor and report Test Results
  • Develop automated tests for test cases and integrate automations into test suites
  • Document test issues and errors encountered on the designated defect management tool and retest/s defects logged.
  • Participate on continuous improvement activities across Education group
  • Participate on different discussions - but not limited to the following: Sprint Planning, Retro, Bug Triage, team meetings
  • Participate on learning sessions to increase skills on both testing and different functionalities
  • Work collaboratively and amicably with the team in Manila, UK and Australia.
  • Qualification

    What makes you the ideal candidate for this position? You will be ideal for this part if you are a degree-holder in a relevant field of study or have 2 years of software testing experience or less whom gained principal testing specialism (i.e., manual, automated) and with good communication skills. In addition, understanding, knowledge or expertise in the following are an advantage:
  • Agile development process (Scrum or similar)
  • Experience with test design tools
