Job Description

Zigzag Media  is looking for a superstar IT and Microsoft Service Engineer to join our team!
 
The main responsibility of a Windows Support Engineer is to setup and repair computer hardware, commissioning workstations and installing software, manage the Active Directory, removal of virus and malware infections from computer systems and logically follow a troubleshooting process and finding resolution using online resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Communicating with customers and colleagues by slack, email and our internal ticketing system.
  • Computer Hardware Setups and Repairs
  • Commissioning workstations and installing software.
  • Manage the Active Directory
  • Manage Biometrics Systems for Security and Timekeeping
  • Preventative server maintenance as per our standard checks (checking and clearing event logs, errors etc)
  • Accessing user’s systems via to resolve level 1 support requests.
  • Removal of virus and malware infections from computer systems.
  • Logically following a troubleshooting process and finding resolution using online resources.
  • Follow best practices and escalation policy in handling all support requests
  • Other ad hoc tasks as requested
  • Good Customer Communication Skills
  • Knows how to prioritize tasks

  • Amenable to work on a flexible schedule
  • Prepare monthly reports and other reports as requested
