Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW

The HR Generalist is responsible in supporting the HR Manager in administering hammerjack’s processes including benefit administration, employee and labor relations, payroll administration, regulatory compliance and related activities in accordance with generally accepted Human Resource standards. This person assists in the formulation, determination, and effectuation of management policies and is responsible for maintaining confidentiality concerning HR matters.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS (C&B)

  • Conducts New Hire Orientation for Rank and File (R&F). She ensures the smooth onboarding of new employees.
  • Endorses benefit coverage of newly regularized employees (HMO and Life Insurance)
  • Prepares Employee Movement Form for R&F
  • Process hammerjack’s payroll
  • Supports HR Manager in other HR initiatives pertaining to the development, expansion and implementation of an enhanced performance management and development scheme.
  • Process COE requests

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

  • Supports the HR Manager in Mediating, counseling, and facilitating in arbiting disputes between employees and/or their co-employees.
  • Conduct exit interviews for Rank and File.
  • Assist in relaying company policies and guidelines to employees and enforce standards for professional behavior and general work operations.
  • Draft Decision Notices from Written Warning to Final Written Warning.
  • Assist HR Manager in serving/preparing Notices to Explain
  • Prepare RTWOs

DOCUMENTATION

  • Maintain departmental records of R& F and Supervisors

REPORTS

  • Prepares and sends daily attendance report to Operations team;
  • Uploads and updates personnel information through Salarium
  • Maintain trackers and generate departmental reports.
  • Provide regular reporting to HR Manger.

ENGAGEMENT

  • Helps in organizing HR-related events

OTHERS

  • Support HR Manager in responding to inquiries directed to HR
  • Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by the HR Manager.

Educational / Professional Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree most preferably in Psychology, Industrial Relations/Labor Relations or its equivalent
  • Well developed influencing skills, proven ability to relate well to other people in a wide range of contexts and levels; as well as working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the Philippine Labor Laws
  • Good communication abilities
  • Good interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues at all levels both internal and external to hammerjack.
  • Good analytical skills including attention to detail combined with the skill to communicate concisely with senior colleagues and figures both within and outside the organization.
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities with competing priorities/deadlines
