API Developer - Mid / Jr.

Job Description

The APIC developer is responsible for writing server-side web application logic in JavaScript or variants of it and is responsible for developing back-end components, connecting applications with in-house developed and third-party web services as required.

Code development in backend (JS/node.js, JAVA) with a focus on micro services. (J2EE) technologies

Ensure optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests

Collaborate with front-end developers on the integration of elements

Design customer-facing UI back-end services for various business processes

Develop high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code

Implement effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions

Run diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support

Recommend and implementing improvements to processes and technologies

Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems

APIC certification is a plus

Experience in APIC, Java, Maven, Spring Boot, Spring Security, OAuth, SOAP, REST API, JSON, XML, YAML, GraphQL, Swagger, JPA, BM DB2, MongoDB, Apache Hadoop, Junit, Mockito, Jacoco, Cryptography, encryption, JWT, RHOCP, Docker EE, Apache Kafka, Elastic Stack, Kibana

Experience of using relational databases, complex SQL and JavaScript frameworks

Experience delivering using Agile practices

Good communicator and be comfortable working on a variety of assignments

Understanding of API concepts and technologies

Strong knowledge of APIC layer, REST and WEB services

Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it

Good understanding of server-side templating languages and server-side CSS preprocessors
