Ansible Engineer
Job Description
• Maintaining Products up to date using Ansible deployment tool
• Deploy configuration items to Servers based on Microsoft Windows or Linux OS
• Familiar with VMware technologies such as VMWare ESXi, vCenter, Active Directory, Windows and
Linux
• Adhering to agreed schedules and meeting deadlines.
• Ensuring a positive, pro-active “can do” approach is maintained
• Comply with company procedures and standards. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review Vulnerabilities published by NIST, MITRE and other information sources for vulnerabilities
related to non-Microsoft Products
• Validate Ansible Inventory collection lists against Active Directory and other Inventory tool to identify
machines that are not included in the current Inventory and not receiving the appropriate updates.
• Work with other teams to ensure Ansible can reach all servers in scope.
• Determine other updates that are not standard patches that can be deployed on an Ansible Playbook and
work with the DevOps Automation operations team to get Playbooks added or modofied for deployment
• Follow the pre-stablished schedule to deploy patches and reboot servers.
• Assist in the creation of any automation package require to upgrade vmware tools on guest servers.
• Perform other remediation duties as directed by the IT Security Operations Manager, Operations.

• Strong team player, demonstrating excellent team qualities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Possess the ability to drive through projects and change based on both skill in project
management and through their individual personality.
• Able to work in a highly stressful environment
