Forward Deployed Architect: Agentic AI
Job Description
Own the end-to-end agentic AI architecture for enterprise client engagements.Design and implement multi-agent systems on AWS and OBZ’s Neo platform, including orchestration patterns, request routing, memory management, retrieval architectures, observability, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks.Design human-in-the-loop workflows appropriate for regulated industries such as banking, insurance, and telecommunications.Define governance models, review checkpoints, explainability mechanisms, and operational controls required for enterprise AI deployments.Work with AWS Bedrock, Agent Core, frontier AI model providers, orchestration frameworks, and evaluation tooling to design scalable and production-ready AI systems.Evaluate architectural trade-offs across models, frameworks, deployment patterns, integration approaches, and infrastructure design decisions.Design integrations with enterprise systems including APIs, hybrid environments, legacy platforms, identity systems, and regulated infrastructure environments.Define evaluation criteria, testing strategies, observability frameworks, drift detection approaches, and production monitoring models for agentic systems.Review engineering output to ensure architecture quality, scalability, security, and operational reliability standards are maintained.Produce architecture decision records, technical design documentation, governance artefacts, and reusable design patterns.Contribute to pre-sales engagements by leading technical workshops, architecture discussions, and solution-definition sessions with enterprise stakeholders.Support estimation, sprint planning, work breakdown, backlog management, and technical delivery governance across engagements.Contribute reusable intellectual property including reference architectures, governance templates, orchestration models, and evaluation frameworks that strengthen OBZ’s broader AI delivery capabilities
Qualification
10+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML systems, cloud architecture, or enterprise technology delivery environments.At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience designing and deploying production AI or agentic systems within enterprise environments.Strong expertise across AWS architecture and cloud-native delivery patterns including Bedrock, Agent Core, SageMaker, Lambda, API Gateway, containerization, serverless computing, observability, and enterprise security services.Strong understanding of multi-agent orchestration, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, tool integration design, MCP server patterns, evaluation frameworks, and agentic AI failure modes.Familiarity with frontier AI tooling ecosystems, model providers, orchestration frameworks, and deployment approaches.Experience integrating AI systems into enterprise environments with complex security, networking, identity, governance, and compliance requirements.Strong understanding of enterprise integration concepts including APIs, event-driven systems, IAM, VPC architecture, PrivateLink, identity federation, access controls, and data governance.Experience working within BFSI, telecommunications, insurance, or other regulated industries with strong governance and compliance requirements.Strong understanding of AI security risks, including prompt injection, data leakage, access control, secrets management, encryption, and auditability requirements.Ability to define production reliability standards, evaluation approaches, observability models, and operational governance for enterprise AI systems.Strong executive communication skills with the ability to explain technical trade-offs, AI limitations, governance controls, and operational risks clearly to enterprise stakeholders.Strong technical leadership capability across engineering teams, sprint execution, technical governance, and delivery management.
